Emergency First Response Instructor
This 1 day course trains you to certify both divers and non-divers in life saving and secondary care skills following the same cycle of care used by professional first responders. Become a Emergency First Response Instructor!
This rating is an essential credential for every PADI dive Instructor. More importantly, it is a program that is valuable to everyone. Schools, office buildings, social groups and clubs, factories, and outdoor enthusiasts engage in EFR training every year. The market for this training is huge, and your potential clients are everyone.
There are no prerequisites (other than age) for this program. That means everyone can become an EFR Instructor. PADI Divemasters and Assistant Instructors can do this course, and independently issue EFR Certifications. Our program includes Primary Care (CPR), Secondary Care (bandaging, splinting, bleeding, etc.) and also includes the EFR ‘Care for Children’ Instructor rating. This teaches primary and secondary skills specific to infants and children. Even if you never use these skills, you will be glad to know you have them
