PADI Emergency First Response

A non-diving certification which teaches you basic life saving skills such as cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) as well as secondary care skills like bandaging and splinting. This course is a prerequisite certification for the PADI Rescue Diver course as well as all professional level programs.

Being an Emergency First Response is one of the most rewarding achievements you can earn. The ability to save a life, treat a serious injury, or even just improve someone’s comfort during their time in need is a skill that everyone should have, diver or not. The Emergency First Response course not only teaches you these skills, but does it in a fun and easy way.

What is Included:
The Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care course teaches you basic life saving skills such as cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR), as well as serious bleeding and shock management. Choking, spinal injury, and automated external defibrillation techniques are all mastered in a low stress, often fun way. Based on the same cycle of care used by professional first responders, the EFR course will build your confidence and abilities so that you may be able to make a positive difference when needed.

This course runs over 1 day, and is a prerequisite for the PADI Rescue course, as well as all PADI Professional level training.

Focusing on care for both children and infants, the EFR Care For Children course is taught in conjunction with the Primary and Secondary Care course. This is a great program for teachers, parents, and child care workers, or anyone who has children in their lives.
